VitriSonic - Expanding fibre mat

Vitri^®Sonic is a unique mat product made of voluminized continuous glass filaments. These fibres are compressed and fixed on special-made machines. The design of the mat will be adapted to the geometry of the exhaust silencer and the acoustic requirements profile will be measured custom-fit. A controlled expansion occurs during heating - “restoring forces” of the glass filaments are filling the exhaust silencer. Therefore this product is also recommended to complicated ranges.

The used glass fibres are continuous and there is no health risk.

Vitri^®Sonic can be supplied in densities between 75 kg/m3 and 650 kg/m3 – depending on the requires expansion.
